Magnetic materials for electromagnetic systems

Scientific research and technology have gained a strong momentum in recent decades, and the pace of development in all areas is very fast. From the most important systems of electricity generation and transmission (electric generators, electrical transformers), to the most banal electromagnetic devices, magnetic materials have been, are and will be an essential part in their functioning. This paper is aimed in particular at master's and doctoral students who have concerns in the field of characterization and modeling of the behavior of magnetic materials. Although it contains a number of information close to the field of physics and materials engineering, this book wishes to present the magnetic materials in terms of their technical applicability, in electrical engineering. This material is the result of studies by authors that span more than 10 years.
