Late modern civilization from the Romanian space

The present work on the late modern period in Romania is actually a kind of x-ray of Romania during the communist period.

The post-war transformations in Romania were radical and concerned the form of property and social relations, forced industrialization and economic planning through the introduction of five-year plans, the reorganization of state institutions according to the Soviet model, the promotion of socialist realism in culture.
