Fundamental algebraic structures

The present book includes the courses and seminars given by the author to first-year students of the Faculty of Mathematics in the discipline Fundamental Algebraic Structures. It aims to provide an introduction to the study of basic algebraic structures, such as groupoids, semigroups, monoids, groups, rings and fields. Each section of the book ends with a list of problems, which are useful for a better understanding of the theory presented. At the same time, some model subjects for the semester evaluation are also attached.

The book is addressed to students of the faculty, mathematics teachers in order to prepare degree papers, high school students participating in mathematics circles and, in general, to all algebra lovers.</div >
