Database. Laboratory guide

This paper presents a set of applications designed to improve the understanding of the concepts from the Databases course taught in the 4th year at the Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Information Technology, Politehnica University of Bucharest.

The authors have extensive experience in relational and non-relational databases and database-based applications. All of the applications in this paper are designed by the authors to highlight the best practices and caveats of some of the most popular database management systems in use today.

The main goal of this course is to understand database operations, so the knowledge gained in the Database course can be easily extended to almost any database management system .
