Analysis of vehicle performance based on diagnostic and experimental data

The present book presents two cases of analysis of the operation of automobiles based on the data acquired with the help of specialized (branded) testers and, by comparison, the analysis of the operation of the transmission of a classic 4x4 armored amphibious transporter , without any electronically controlled system. For the latter, the experimental data were acquired with a specially designed and made measurement chain.

All data were processed using similar methods. Time analysis, correlation analysis, and frequency analysis of the data series were used, thus preparing for possible further modeling.

The volume is the fruit of the research work of the authors and is addressed to engineers in the field of Motor Vehicle Engineering, as well as students in the III and IV years from the specializations of Armour, Automobiles and Tractors and Equipment and Systems of Command and Control for Motor Vehicles.
